The Neversink Valley Museum presents its last concert of the season, featuring an entertaining evening of live music. R.J. Storm and Old School Bluegrass Band play on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the D&H Canal Visitor’s Center, 58 Hoag Road (just off Route 209), Cuddebackville, NY 12729. Admission is $10.00, and money raised from this concert will benefit the museum’s General Operating Fund. Light refreshments will be served.
The R. J. Storm and Old School bluegrass band, based in Beacon, NY, has performed their brand of energetic, artistic, and engaging bluegrass music at various venues from right here in the Hudson Valley to the Newport Folk Festival in Newport, RI. Bringing together tasteful instrumental musicianship, rich harmonies and an energetic stage presence, the trio creates a refreshing musical experience for all to enjoy. They have appeared with artists such as Tony Trischka, Pete Seeger, Tom Chapin, Bill Kieth, Uncle Floyd, Dom Flemmons, John McCutcheon, Tom Paxton, Smokey Greene, Roger Sprung, and many, many others.
